Science Department

Thank you for your donation to our Panther Science Department!  You are the reason why we can continue our active approach to hands-on experiments and investigations using the frame of Claim-Evidence-Reasoning.  In the past year, we have used donations to buy scientific equipment such as: digital microscopes and balances, scientific calculators, covers and tubs for our lab sinks, new beakers, graduated cylinders and glass thermometers, and digital sensors for acceleration and speed.  Due to the nature of our curriculum, many lab supplies are purchased and used up during the year such as: toothpicks and marshmallows for model building; elodea and daphnia to look at under microscopes; CDs, cups, balloons, and straws for balloon powered cards,  In addition, donated money has gone to support our consumable supplies used in the classroom including colored pencils, glue sticks, scotch tape, staples, construction paper, post-it notes, EXPO markers, printer paper, binder paper, and SO MUCH MORE!  Thank you again for your support!
