Pleasanton Middle School is a gold winning PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) school which helps create a positive and encouraging school environment. A key part of this program is our "Shout-Out" system, where students are recognized by our staff for demonstrating our five core values of perseverance, respect, integrity, discipline, and excellence. When students receive a Shout-Out, a positive email is sent to the student and their parents/guardians, and they earn a small prize such as a sticker, pencil, or piece of candy. They also get to participate in our quarterly school-wide reward such as a choice PRIDE time, or a pizza, donut, or popsicle party. This system not only motivates students to make good choices, but also allows families to celebrate their child’s positive behavior. Your donation will help us keep this program running strong and ensure we have enough prizes and treats to celebrate every deserving student.
