Seventh grade students enrolled in the wheel classes will take Art, Computer, Consumer & Family Studies, and Technology Explorations for nine weeks each. Three of the four wheel classes use a substantial amount of consumable materials (wood, fabric, food supplies, paint, etc.) that are either taken home with the student for his or her personal use, or consumed by student during the course of the class. Due to the nature of students consuming or taking ownership of the finished product, the Unified Arts Department requests a $30.00 yearly donation from each child enrolled in the wheel classes, in order to cover consumables for all wheel classes.
